Wednesday's Something I have never done before

This week I got to attach flyers to telephone poles with a strong staple gun. Our church is doing a Community Block Party at the local Elementary School. We went door to door passing out flyers to all of the neighbors and putting the flyers on the telephone poles too!

It is exciting to be able to do this each year for our neighbors and our community. I have always been working full time and not able to help with the prep work. I took the girls with me and we went with some other ladies from the church. As we were going from house to house, I got to pray with one elderly lady and get the mail for another one. AB got some ice cream from the "broccoli truck" and we even gave a lot of flyers to the ice cream man and he will do some advertising for us too. It was nice to get out of the house. It was nice to get some exercise. And it was fun using the staple gun. Now I get to retrace all of our steps next week and take them down.
