ACCOMPLISHMENT: Birth Announcements

Birth Announcements and Thank you notes are done and sitting by the door. I am hoping my dear husband will take them to the post office for me. Can you imagine me with my 2 kiddos standing at the counter at the post office putting stamps on all of them? Lord have mercy!

Not sure why people send them but then again at the same time I am not sure why people do not. I guess it is a southern thing! I feel compelled that I MUST do this. Regardless, they are out, a little late but here they come.

Does one know the time limit on a thank you note? I am finding that thank you notes are a southern thing as well but again I feel compelled that I MUST do them even if my child is 7 and a half weeks old now. In my mind, I just couldn't let it go till she was 8 weeks old.

SO there you go! I get to cross 2 things off my list today and am ready to move on! Phew!
